Coming into Cambridge on the M11 from the South

to The Ark, 30 St Matthew's St, Cambridge, CB1 2LT

Printable instructions at the bottom of this page

If you come up the M11 from the south, take exit 11 and follow the signposts to Cambridge through Trumpington village into Cambridge. Keep straight on into the first part of the city until you reach two mini-roundabouts, one after the other. (You will see the Royal Cambridgeshire Hotel in front and on the left there).

At the second of these mini-roundabouts turn right down Lensfield Road.

In what follows, please ignore pedestrian traffic lights. When I write "traffic lights" I mean with a junction.

The first set of traffic lights has a large church on your right. Go straight on.

You then see a large grassy park on your left. At the next set of traffic lights go straight on down East Road.

This road becomes an urban dual carriage way. Take the right hand lane (eventually the right of three) and turn right at the next traffic lights. This is just before a large round building on your right.

(If you reach a roundabout, you've gone too far - you'll need to go all the way round, taking the fourth exit back down East Road and then immediately left at the traffic lights, this time just after the large round building on your left.)

This is St Matthew's Street. Go straight over a mini-roundabout and follow the road as it bends right. You'll see a church on the left of the road. Our house is next to the church, just past it.

We hope you find us OK.
